Bowlers will regret to learn of the sudden death at Melbourne of Mr W. J. Cuddon, Ivon secretary of the Victorian Bowling Association. For many years past ho . had played as captain iri tiho inter-Stato matches between New South Wales and Victoria, and generally acted as .manager of the Victorian, team. Indeed, at the time of his death ho was arranging matters in connection with the visit .of the- Victorian team to Sydney forthe ELster tournament, and hoped to be one of the number. Mr Ouddon waa manager of the first. Australian team that visited Groat Britain.
