Murray, Roberts and Co. report:— ln> consequence of late arrival of some wools intended for earlier sales a sale of wool was held by us, the combined offerings being about 500 bales. Our catalogue comprised 300 bales of this quantity, and with the exception of a few odd lots all were sold at auction, at figures which should satisfy growers. Prices ruled on the whole a halfpenny above last sal® held in February. Taking quality or lately arrived wool into consideration, prices must bo considered well up topresent Loudon equivalent.' We quote:— Wool,—Merino (medium sorts) 7d to HAd, fine crossbred 7d to 7£d, coarse to medium crossbred 6Ad to 7-fd. medium dingy and inferior s|d to 6id, lambs (clean). 6Ad to Bd, lambs (seedy) 42d td 5Ad, pieces ,and bellies 31d to -lid, locks to 3ld.
