She will return from Australia with a cargo of timber for Wellington, The barque Fclicitas, which put into port on Thursday evening in a leaking condition remained at anchor off Kaiwarra yesterday pending instructions from the owners. Captain Andersen is of opinion that the vessel is leaking near the bow, at a place which had previously leaked for some time, it is probable that about 100 tens of coal will bo lightered in order to ©lfect repairs. The T'elicitas has a cargo of 1150 tons of coal. The barque Helen Denny, now at Alelbourae, is due at Newcastle at the end of >veek to load about 1000 tons of coal for the Westport and Greymouth Coal and Produce Company, Wellington. She will sail from Newcastle about tne middle of December. A letter dated Wednesday last, from the scene of the wreck of the barque Ben Avon, states that there are 156 casks of whisky stacked up on the beach, and also several cases. On Wednesday there was only a small portion of the wreck visible. Air AI. Siilars, mate of the lost vessel, is ©xxiocted to arrive in town today from Capo Pulliser. A Customs official is in charge of the cargo washed ashore.
