ALLEGED LIBEL.
mi!SS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER. November 27. An action for libel has been commenced by Mr T. E. Lindsay, auctioneer, and stock agent for the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., against Abra.ha.rn and 'Williams, Ltd., stock and station agents, Palmerston North, claiming £IOOO damages in respect of statements alleged to havo been made by tbo latter firm reflecting upon the plaintiff’s conduct in a certain recent stock transaction. Tho case will be heard at tbo February sessions of tho Supreme Court. . _
