AXEMEN’S COMPETITION.

HOBART, November 27. At the Axemen's Carnival, Harrington (Victoria) von the handicap underhand chop, Mitchell (Now Zealand) being third. Blanche (Victoria) won the world’s championship for chopping standing blocks. Burns (Tasmania) secured tho £IOO handicap. Casey (Now Zealand) won the handicap saw event, and Mitchell and another the double hand-saw, Casey and Buckingham being second in tho latter.
