The Chief Justice returns to town this morning from Blenheim. To-day Mr Justice Cooper will hold a sitting in Chambers, and will arrange the civil list. The fiftieth anniversary of St. John’s Church, Willis street, will be commemorated on December 6th, when special sermons will he preached by tho Rev Dr Gibb. Over a hundred bandsmen, are to take part in the Hospital Sunday demonstration on tho Basin Reserve on Decembei 6th.
