■ ACTION BY'EVANGELICAL CHURCHES. (Received November 8. 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, November 7. A conference of delegates from the metropolitan Evangelical Churches, promoted by tho Rev R. 3.. Campbell, minister of the City Temple, to deal with the'question of unemployed, decided to establish a Freo Church Fund to buy waste land and employ applicants for work at fair current wages. It was also decided to recommend the Government and local authorities to devise measures to utilise unemployed labour.
