Tbo College E-ifles paraded on Tuesday evening forty-three strong, under Cap-. 1 tain Turner and lieutenant KHis. Alter parade Sergeant Uutcheu wag elected to the rank of lieutenant, a vacancy having occurred through the transfer of .Lieut. Lewis to the Keserre. The latter haa been elected a life hon. member of the corps. The further following promotions -were also made:—Corporal and Corporal Williams to bo raetgeant«: LmicoCorporals Pollock, Bothamley and Private Card ale to bo corporals; and Privates Cotton and Cook to be Lance-Corporals. It was decided to immediately place orders for a full dress uniform (scarlet).
