The Moura, from Fiji, via Auckland, passed East Cape at 12.50 p.m. yesterday, bound for Wellington, where she is due this afternoon. She will discharge 2300 bunches and 170 tons of bananas. Tho ship Thomliebank, 1969 tons, sailed from New York on July Ist for Wellington and Auckland. The Patea Shipping Company announce that tho Kapiti null take up the Mana’s running, sailing for Patea at 5 p.m. today. Tho Mana will sail for Waitara at noon tomorrow. The new dredge for the Westport Harbour Board recently launched at Scotland has been named Ruby Seddon. The* ship Europa, from Liverpool, weighed anchor at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, and was towed by the Dnco as far as Point Halswell, bound for Port Chalmers. Tho ship sailed out of the Heads at 11.10 a.m., but after going about three miles out in the Strait the wind chopped round from, the north to tho south-east. Captain Bona was therefore compelled to run back, and dropped anchor at Worser Bay at 2.45 p.m. The New Zealand and African Steamship Company's steamer Essex- sailed from Auckland yesterday afternoon for Napier. The next port tho vessel will load at for South Africa will bo Wanganui.
)The Tyser liner Mimiro, from London, arrived shortly before 8 o’clock yesterday morning and berthed at No. Qneou’s Wharf. On completing tie discharge of the Wellington cargo she moves this afternoon to the Glasgow Wharf _to load produce for London. The Mimiro sails for Wanganni on Saturday afternoon. The Countess towed the Kirapaka to the stream yesterday afternoon, where 'she will lay up for a month. The brigantine Aratapu loaded ballast yesterday preparatory to sailing shortly for Kaipara. The coastal steamer Toroa is due from Napier this morning with a cargo of transhipments cv Niwaru. The schooner Joseph Sims sailed from Lyttelton on Tuesday with about 90 tons of prodnee for Wellington. Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co. invite tenders for the supply of 1500 tons of ballast about the middle of August for the ship King George. ' VICTORIA FROM SYDNEY. The TTuddart-Parker steamer Victoria arrived in the stream at 1.35 p.m. yesterday after a passage of 3 days 21 hours from Sydney direct. The Victoria sailed from Sydney at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, and passed Cape Farewell at 4.30 a.m. yesterday. Practique being granted, the ship berthed at 4 p.m: Fine weather and light variable winds were experienced throughout the passage.
