At tho monthly meeting of the Kkctahuna branch of tho Farmers’ Union, tho question of the periods for bushburning being stipulated by statute came up for discussion. Giving to the variable climatic conditions which prevail,, it wav considered inadvisable that Pari lament rhrmfv. Tho weather during the past few days Ill's been extremely ccUl. and snow has fallen on tho low-lying hills.
