HIGH SPEED OF A RAILWAY TRAIN. LONDON, July 27. A train ran from 'Victoria Station, London to Brighton (slightly under 54 miles) in 481 minutes. The average speed was 63 miles an hour, and the highest speed attained on the trip was 90 miles an ho’gr.
