(Received July 29, 1.10 a.rn.) MELBOURNE, July 28. Sir George Turner, the Treasurer, delivered tho federal Budget to-night. The receipts amounted to £12,105,000, being £535,000 abovo tho estimate. Tha increase is dno to a larger amount of sugar being imported than was expected, and to heavy imports of grainTbe estimate of receipts for next year is £11,,566,000, or £539,000 lees than last year, the principal decrease being in Customs. ’ The Treasurer said ho anticipated that the sum to be returned to the States would fall short of last year’s amount by £949,000.
