ENTERTAINMENTS.
DIK*9 GAIETY COMPANY. ..The Steel e-Payne Company of Belland all-round musicians, and tho other array of talent provided for patrons of th© Thea.tr© Royal, ar© drawing good audiences. Last night encores The coon songs of Miss MjVs Maude Payne’s fine violin solo playing, the plantation quartettes of th© Steel e-Payne party, the song and danco specialties of th© Williams quartette, the topical sketches of Mr Stove Anson and Mr J. Marion, and the vocal items of others kept th© audi-onoo well entertained for a couple of-hours. Th© programme will be repeated this evening* CHORAL HAIL. A good variety programme is staged at th© Choral Sail, and it is fully recognised that in providing an evening’s mirth Entertainers ar© hard to excel, Fred Bluett, Ted Herbert©, Ah© Phillip Sisters, Miss Amy Blackio and the rest were in excellent form last evening. The Wellington Gaelic Society will ho.d its annual ball in the Druids" Hall this evening.
