REHFTON. July 4. The Alpine mine manager reports No. 12 level south has been extended 14ft for the week. l On Tuesday last about 2ft of stone came in, hut did nob last long. There is a good track. I have to keep the timber close up to the face to make it secure. The level lias been extended north 7ft. There is a fresh make of stone comine in this face which promises well. During the week 1 have taken out the stone along the hanging wall side going north, and another shift will take it out up the north face.
