Altogether 2200 patients were under treatment during the year. The admissions numbered 21)99. and those discharged 1904. There were 101 patients in the hospital on, the 31st, cf March, 1902, as ■ against 197 at the close of the year under review. Of the persons under treatment during tlio year 1352 were * males and 90S females. One hundred and fifty-nine deaths occurred. Outdoor patients numbered 2804. and attendances made 14,040. It is interesting to note that tbo daily average cost per patient is sot down at 4s 4Jd. . In a discussion which followed, it was . mentioned that tbo deaths last year numbered 122 as against 159 for the period just closed.
