Tlio assessors were Messrs F. Lractey and D. T., Stuart. Air Loll appeared for tlio Valuation Department, C. G. Sherwood objected to tlio valuations on two sections in Cuba, street. The unimproved value on the first section, 21ft by CO.lift, was £1355, and improvements £250. 'ibis valuation was sustained. The depth of the second .section, which is 10ft by 90ft, was reduced by consent to CQ.Otfc, and tho unimproved value of LI2OO was reduced to £IO4O. George London, six sections, Cuba street; unimproved value 1112,500, improvements £3IOO. —Valuation sustained. Richard Woodman, five sections, Garrett street; unimproved value £ll*lo, improvements £looo.—\ aluation sustained. Elizabeth Woodman, two sections, Garrett street; unimproved value £SOO, improvements £4OO. —Valuation sustained. James Edwards, three sections, Taranaki street. —Tho dispute was with reference to the ansi of the frontages, and the.su were, amended by the Court making a reduction of £l3 on the un- . improved value. Hannah Buck and family, sections, Tory street, 18ft by 00ft (valuations £270 and £150), ISft by 00ft (£270 and £150), 27ft by 90ft (£405 and £350), 125 ft by 92ft (£750 and £100). —Valuations sustained. Hannah -Buck and family, section 125 ft by 92ft, Frankvililo terrace; unimproved value £750, improvements £loo.—Valuation sustained. Hannali Buck and family, five sections, 19ft by 92ft each. Frankvillo terrace; unimproved value £ll4 each aud improvements £SO each.—Valuations Sustained. A sixth section, 20ft by 92ft, in the same street; unimproved value £l2O, improvements £SO. —Valuation sustained.

Henry Sexton, section 50ft by 47ft, Kent terrace; unimproved value £IOOO, improvements £4oo.—The unimproved value was reduced by £IOO. Henry Sexton also objected unsuccessfully to tho valuer's iigures in respect of two sections in Sussex square, 13ft by 50ft and 10ft by 50ft respectively. Laiu-a K. Hill, section 33ft by 95ft, Home street; unimproved value £297, improvements £soo.—Valuation sustained. T. Shields, two sections, Oriental terrace, area 336 t by 150 ft and 114 ft by 200 ft.— Unimproved value reduced in the first case from £2G4 to £231, and in the second from £912 to £GB4. Estate of D. N. Wilkinson, section, Grass street, 50ft by 330 ft and 82ft by 230 ft; unimproved value £564. — Valuation sustained. The same objector had the unimproved value of £IOoG reduced to £956 on a section 132 ft by 330 ft in Grass street. Tho valuation on a third section, 250 ft by 143 ft, of £1250, was sustained. .

j. J. Devine, two sections. Shannon street, 43ft by 90ft anti 59ft by 90ft; unimproved values £344 and £472 respectively.—Reduced to £3Ol and £413 respectively. Tho same objector had the unimproved values of £420 and £SOO reduced to £378 and £504 respectively on two sections in Hawker street, 42ft by 90ft and 56ft by 90ft. Margaret Devine, section 43ft by 90ft, Hawker street. —Unimproved value (£430) ’was reduced to £387. At this stage tho Court adjourned until 2.15 on Tuesday afternoon.
