SHOCKING MURDER AT HULL.

At Hull a woman named Alien, who had been living with a marine fireman called Bolton, in Campbell _ street, Anlaby road, was found dead in t-ho house, lying in a pool of blood, haying apparently been stabbed several times in tho region of tho heart. In another room tho police discovered Bolton with his throat cut, but lie is expected to recover. It is believed.to be a case of murder and attempted suicide. Tho couple wore frequently seen the worse for drink, but it has not yet been ascertained whether there was any ouarrol between tho couple during the night. Tho man William Bolton has beep for some time engaged on a steam trawler at Hull. The house where the tragedy occurred was inhabited by deceased and another woman. The previous night, it is stated, Bolton forced an entrance, and remained all night. The worn ax who lived with Alien slept in the kitchen. She called Bolton and Allen early, and cm swing into the bedroom she noticed Allen’s nightdress covered with blood, and she lifted her out of bed on to the floor. Bolton was also bleeding from a cut in his threat. Tho woman then ran for a doctor and the police, hut on her return Allen was dead.t Bolton was .taken to the infirmary in charge of tho police.
