THE Trustees of the Ilutt Public Park ami Racecourse and the Stewards of the Wellington Racing Club give public notice that the following among other amended Regulations were duly made and passed on the Bth day of January, 1903, by the Ilutt Park and Racecourse Board, and will be strictly enforced on the Racecourse at the Wellington Racing Club's Summer Meeting, to be held on the. 22nd and 24th hist, and upon any day or days to which such meeting may be postponed : —■ No person shall upon any portion of the Racecourse carry on the business of a bookmaker or betting agent'or layer of lotalisntor odds or layer of starting prices. No person shall upon any portion of the Racecourse shout or cry betting odds or prices or advertise himself to the public as open to make bets or lay odds or starting prices or as willing to enter into any betting or wagering contract either upon the result of any race or otherwise or stand or remain in any place or spot for the purpose of doing any of the said things. It shall be a condition on which each person shall bo permitted to have access to the Racecourse upon any day when, the same shall be used for racing purposes that such person shall not upon any portion of the Racecourse carry on the business of a bookmaker or betting agent or layer of totnlisator odds nr layer of starting prices or shout or cry betting odds or prices or advertise himself to the public as open to make bets or lay odds or starting prices or as willing to cuter into any betting or wagering contract either upon the result of any race or otherwise or stand or remain in any place or spot for the purpose of doing any of the said things. Any person committing a breach of any of the provisions contained in these Rules and Regulations may be ordered to leave the Racecourse, and failing compliance with such order such person shall bo deemed a trespasser, and maybe ejected from the Racecourse and prosecuted as a trespasser.
