AQUATICS.

WELLINGTON ROWING CLUB. The office of hon. secretary of the Wellington Rowing Club has been filled by the appointment of Mr C. W, Nielsen, who also represents tho club as delegate to tho Wellington Rowing Association. Mr A. Hill has been ohoson selector of crews. The following crows have been selected to represent the club at regattas;— Junior crew —O. P. Jones (stroke), G. A. Honour (3), A. W. Humphries (2), H. A. Jones (how). Maiden crew—C. W. Neilsen (stroke). Dawson (3), H. Green (2), F. J. Ellison (bow). Maiden double sculls —W., J. McKay (stroke), C. W. Neilsen (bow)'. The Price Fours, for trophies presented by tho club’s lato deputy-captain, will be rowed next Saturday, tho 24tli inst., commencing at 3 p.m. Entries close at 2.30 p.m. Tho club will hold its annual swimming sports on the 28th February, and no effort will be spared to make them as successful as they have been hitherto.

STAR BOATING CLUB,

The final heat of the Junior Sculls, . rowed over tho northerly course last night, resulted in A. J. Baker winning by a length from R. L. Evatt. The winner holds for a year the trophy presented by Mr Soymer Tanored. The following crews have been picked for the Senior and Junior Double Sculls the first heats of which are to be rowed' on Saturday, the 7th proximo:—Seniors —J. E. Widdop'(stroke), R. Gray (bow); A. J. S. Thomson (stroke), H. W. Cooper (bow); C. H. Skelley (stroke), J. A. Macleod (how); F. A. Barclay (stroke), , J. McKenzie (bow) ; D. W. Dull (stroke), D. T. Mowat (how). Juniors—W. V. Smith (stroke), J. Davidson (bow); E. A. Killick (stroke), W. H.Warren (how); J. Northey (stroke)j H. Raymond (bow); J. Hamilton (stroke), N. K. Smythe (bow); A. G. Watson (stroke), H.' S. Barron (how); A. E. Boyos (stroke), J. B. Reid (bow); A. J. Baker (stroke), T. W. Brown (bow); A. H. Johnstone (stroke), J. J. McLeod (how); W. Harrington (stroke), J. W. Minifie (how); H.
