SYDNEY, December 20. • At a Christmas family gathering at Bathurst, a Mrs Newton was personating “ Father Christmas,” clad in a cloak trimmed with cotton wool, which took fire, and terribly burned her. Mrs Noivtom died in. great agony. A Mr Ross, who made efforts to save her, was badly scorched.'
