Two retired in the Welter .'Hack Flat, one in fho Railway Handicap and seven in the Final Scurry. Mongonui was the first to show in front, hub nearing the bend Anchorito shot out, followed by Perfection. Tn the straight Anchorite fell away, and Perfection won a pood race by a length. 'Hero tho loaders woro being ridden hard, and Waiwcra appeared to bo overhauling Kolumui, but tho latter, showing greatly improved form to his running on tho first day, had tho raco well in hand, and won by several lengths.
