The hen, gentleman returned heartfelt thanks for tho enthusiastic reception. Replying-to tho toast of the Ministry, Mr Mills said his colleagues were men of ability and experience, whoso solo aim bad been tbo advancement of the people and tbo levelling upwards of the masses. Messrs Price, Reader, Dillan and W. Smith spoke enlogistically of Mr Mills’s splendid services to Marlborough.
