Three German cruisers have been ordered to Venezuela. Civil and criminal business was before the Supremo Court yesterday in Wellington. The Premier of South Australia has protested against the suspension of the fodder duties. A meeting in connection with the establishment of a Y.M.C.A. in Wellington was held last night. Tho Trades Congress sitting in Sydney has passed a resolution in favour of the abolition of State Governorships. A contract has been signed for the construction of a cable from San Francisco to China and the Pliilippinos.
