THE KAISER’S TRIBUTE TO THE DECEASED’S MEMORY. (Received November 28, 0.25 a.m.) BERLIN, November 27. Tho remains of the late Herr Kiupp, the famous iroufounder, were buried with princely honours. Iwenty-loui thousand workmen and troops lined Unstreets cf Essen. . Tlio Kaiser travelled all night to attend the funeral. He deposited a wreath on the bier, and afterwards de livored a remarkable address to the directors and workmen of tho Krupp foundries. _ . His Majesty said ho it- his boundon duty, as head of the Empire, to hold a shield over the house and memory of their dead friend, whose sensitive‘nature had received a mortal blow in the recent attacks on his moral character of socialist newspapers. Ho wont on to say that it was base and .shameful of any German to attack tho honour of a man who was devoted to tho Fatherland and to tho welfare of tlio working classes. It was nothing loss than murder to _ throw poisoned darts and to slander his sanctum. The Kaiser closed with an appeal to tlio workmen to defend their late master’s honour, and to . cut themselves away from tho authors of tho deed.
