THE TAINE ESTATE SALE.

TO-DAY. The auction rooms of M es9rß Macdon* aid, Wilson and Co. will no doubt to-day see a largo attendance of Hutt and city residents, when the sale of sections in this, estate takes place at 2.30 o clock. The property is well known as situate in the, very centre of tho Hutt borough, and as-having been'owned and occupied hy Mr James Taine for the past fifty years.- The sections to ; be submitted comprise 134, ranging in area from an eighth of an acre upwards, and the term# of sale under which they are to he sold are most liberal, viz.. 10 per cent, deposit at sale, and the balance hy easy instalments, leaving -70 Jier cent, unpaid for five years at 5 per cent, interest. The central position of_the estate, situate as it is oh the main nutt road, close to the post office, and within easy walking distance of the railway station, gives it a special value for business and residential purposes. The auctioneers insert a special notice stating that an impression exists amongst a certain section of Hutt residents that' owing .to the valuable character of the estate, the proprietors Will he induced to place heavy reserves upon the lots. They assure intending buyers that their instructions are fo sell every ‘ section, and that they can hid with perfect confidence, the fact le/ng that purchasers will be able to scour* sections at half their real value.
