ANOTHER HOSPITAL TROUBLE.
Special to the “ Tuna.” . WANGANUI. November 9. At the last meeting of the Hospital Board the honorary visiting staff asked, that restrictions bo placed upon the appointment of a house surgeon. They asked that he should not be allowed to practise privately while in the -Hoard s employ or within three yeany of relinquishing his duties. The Board declined. The visiting staff has now resigned. and has sent a letter to the Board stating that this step has been taken in consequence of remarks made by the chairman of ths Hospital Board, at its last meeting, which appear to have been endorsed by a majority of the members present. The writers add that in order that the patients may not be neglected pending a reorganisation of the medical staff, they are willing to "isit the hospital until the next monthly meetof the Board. The letter is signed by I>rs E. C. Earle, Tripe. P. G. Saunders. H. E. Hntherley. E. E. Porritt and B. Barnard.
