THE WILLOW BANK ESTATE.

The preliminary advertisement of this fine estate appears in' to-day’s issue. The property is now being subdivided by Mr E. W. Seaton, surveyor, and will be sold by auction by Messrs George Thomas and Co. early in December. The laud now to bo disposed of is well-known. Secured many years ago as a residence by the late Sir William Fitzherbert. it is charmingly situated within half a minute’s walk of the local railway station, surrounded by splendid private residences, wooded heights and quiet pastoral scenery, and the advantages to the Wellington business man for possessing a lovely country home are. evident. The late Mr Robert Laery, when settling in Wellington, decided upon the Lower Hntt as the ideal suburb of the Empire City for a country estate, and purchased Willow Bank. His death has been the sole reason for the present sale. In order that the neighbourhood may enjoy its high-class characteristics it has been decided that no section shall contain less than 50ft frontage, and a number run to the full quarter-acre. Plaus are in course of preparation. .The terms of sale will prove to be of an exceptionally easy and liberal character, very mile cash being required.
