AN OFFICER CASHIERED.
EDUCATIONAL TROUBLES IN FRANCE. (Received September 28, 4.41 p.m.) PARIS, September 27. Major Lo Roy la Durio has been tried at Nantes and cashiered for refusing to obey his colonel’s commands to close schools.
Ho pleaded conscientious objections, and said it was not the army’s duty to expel people from schools.
