DR TORREY’S MISSION.

It is now definitely arranged that the mission to he conducted in this city by Dr Toney and Mr Alexander is to begin in the Skating Rink, Arivian street, on Thursday evening, the 28th inst. A meeting of representatives of all the churches is to be held on the previous evening, when united prayer will he made on behalf of the mission, and coloured badges will be distributed to workers. A united choir is now in process of formation, under the leadership of Mr Collins. This will bo conducted by Mr Alexander, who is reputed to be one of the foremost Evangelistic singers in the world. Mr C. AV. Smith, Lambton quay, the treasurer, will receive subscriptions and donations in aid of the mission.
