HOCKEY.
The Senior Selection Committee (Messr* F. Ashbolt, "Wheeler and Hickson) have nicked, the teams for a trial match to be played next Saturday at Miramar in view of the representative fixtures with the Nelson and Manawatu -Associations. Any of the players selected who are unable to play on Saturday are requested to notify the Selection Committee at once. Following are the teams;—A team (yellow and black) Wheeler, Sullivan. Campbell, Reid, Organ, Bridge, S. Hickson. Davies and Smythe. B team (white)—Pearson. Spiers, C. Hickson, Griffiths, Morpeth, Ostler, Hull, Putman. Beere, Ruddock and A. H. -Bogle. Ruddock being unable to play, his place in the B team will be taken by Dawson. , •
