MINING NEWS.
The Wellington Stock has received the following return of_VYakamarina Golden Point dredge—26oz sdwt for 148 hours' dredging. A telegram was received yesterday stating that the pontoons of the Kaituna Dredging Company (Collingwood) have been launched. As 'the machinery is on tho ground, the work of erection will commence immediately. DUNEDIN SHAREMARKET. PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, March 11. Following are to-day's Dunedin Stock Exchange sales:— Davis Bend, Is 3d dis; Endeavour, 13s 3d; Ettrick, 16s; Gold King, 5s 9d; Notown Creek, 235; Olrig, 24s 9d, 255; Pactolus, 41s Gd prem.; Point d'Or, Is 3d dis; Rise and Shine, 14s 6d, 14s'3d, 14s 6d; Trafalgar, 235; Upper ■ Magnetic, ss. AUCKLAND, March 11. During February tho New Zealand Crown Mines recovered bullion valued | at £6388 from 2560 tons ore.
