ACCIDENTS.
James McDonald, hulk keeper of the J. B. Taylor, met with a nasty accident yes. terday. McDonald was engaged in taking the hulk alongside the steamer Opawa at 8.30 a.m... when the breasting lines Slipped and struck him on the back, knock, ing him overboard and into the harbour. Several of his fallow workers at onoe pushed a boat off and got him on board the Opawa., He was found to be uncon. scions. Constable Cockery,* who rendering first aid, succeeded in bringing him round in about twenty minutes. Dr Henry afterwards ordered his removal to. the hospital, as it was found that inflam, mation of the lungs had set in. .
