PRESS ASSOCIATION. WAIHI, October 19. At an inquest held this afternoon on the body of James Carter, the victim of the Waihi mine fatality, a verdict of accidental death by a fall of rock was returned. CHRISTCHURCH, October 20. William McKay, an old resident, mans, jrer of Woodstock station, waa found dead this morning not far from the station. Apparently he had got out to open a gate on the road, and his horse having started he was knocked down and run over. Hi? horse and cart were afterwards found at the bottom of a cliff, over which they had fallen.
