AQUATICS.
The following pnwramme for club rates for the season has been drawn tip by the Wellington Rowing Clnb:—Trial Fours, . Senior Pairs, Junior Pours, Senior Sculls, Junior Pairs, Senior Fours. Junior Double Sculls, Senior Doable Sculls and Junior Sculls. Saturday afternoon events—Wareham Fours, last Saturday in October; President's Fours, No. 1, second Saturday in November; Kempt borne Fours, first Saturday In December; swimming sports, January; President's Fours, No. 2, third Saturday in Januarv : Ladies' Plate Fours, second Saturday in February; Club Fours, first Saturday in March. Entries for the Trial Fours close at the clubhouse on Satnrday. Over fifty new members: were secured by the Star Club during September. 'There are eighty-four member*.of the Star Club training for club races, and they are showing gnat enthusiasm in their work. Last evening the harbour was covered with Star crews. It is understood that tba New Zealand, Amateur Bowing Aesociation-is about to ' lose the service* of its secretary. Mr F. - Q. Bolton, who does not intend to "geek re-election. Mr N. Galbraith, secretarv of the Ster Club, has been nominated ag Hr Bolton’s successor. The annual meeting of the association., at which this exchange of officials will take place will be held bn the 30th iut.
