THE BUBONIC PLAGUE.

ALARM IN SYDNEY. (Received August 7, 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 6. There is much alarm in the city at a report that the plague has reappeared. A labourer named Edward Fury died suddenly with suspicions symptoms at Redfern. The bony has been removed to the quarantine station. Tho house in which another man is sick has been isolated. The exact nature of the disease will not be known until a bacteriological examination has been completed.
