WRECK OF A TORPEDO DESTROYER.

LONDON, August 6. Particulars of the wreck at Alderney on Saturday during the naval manc-eu-vxes show that the disaster happened to the torpedo destroyer Viper, built on the turbine principle, and claimed to he the fastest vessel afloat. While the Viper was going at the rate of twenty knots an hour she entered a fog and struck the rocks, breaking Jier back- The vessel foundered, but all on board were saved.
