BUSINESS NOTES.
Messrs A. R. Meech and Co will sell at their rooms at 2 p.m. to-day a quantity of superior household furniture and effects, in first-class order; also an Avery's platform scale and ambulance wajon. Messrs Townsend and Paul will sell at their rooms on Tuesday, on account of Messrs H. C. Gibbons and Co., a largo assortment of locally grown flowering and ornamental, hedge and shelter trees and fruit trees.
Messrs Jolly and Co., 56, Willis street, insert their new weekly advertisement,., containing a list of bargains for immediate disposal. Intending purchasers of town and country properties should not fail to secure the August number of the '“Wellington Property Record/' which contains twelve pages of proyert’es of all descriptions for sale. The attention of those interested in the township of Petone is directed to Messrs Baker Bros/ advertisement giving particulars of several cottages and sections to be offered at auction next Wednesday. In addition a 'bus plant, wood cutting and cork manufacturing plant, together -with household furniture and sundries will be put up. Messrs Turnbull, Watkins and Williams draw attention to their list of dairy farms published in this issue. The particulars comprise fwms of various areas up to 300 acres situated in the best dairying parts of Taranaki and Wairarapa. i Messrs Gorton and Son will sell at Younger’s stables, Feilding, at 1 p.m. today eight heavy draughts, four harness horses, two colts and a contractor’s plant. Messrs W. H. Morrah and Co. will sell horses and vehicles at their yards at 2 p.m. to-day. Messrs J. H. Bethune and Co. publish in our advertising columns particulars of a sale of valuable freehold city and country properties, to be held at their rooms, Featherston street, on Monday, 12th August, at 2.30 p.m., by instructions from the executors in the estate of the late E. H. Bradford.
