The Wellington Harbour Board calls for tenders for the supply ana delivery at the Waterloo quay and Te Aro Reclamation of ton thousand loads of dry cartn and rook filling. C Smith’s winter sale is still attracting the patronage of the purchasing public. As the time for stocktaking is close at hand, the firm is advertising attractive lines that have been thrown out, and must be sold. Messrs Thompson Bros, and Co. will sell oaten shetf chaff at their rooms at 11 o’clock this merning. Messrs Laery and Co. will hold a sale of plants, shrubs, bulbs, etc., at their rooms at 1.80 p.m. to-day.
