The Wellington Harbour Board calls for tenders for the supply ana delivery at the Waterloo quay and Te Aro Reclamation of ton thousand loads of dry cartn and rook filling. Messrs Turnbull, Watkins and Williams have been instructed th sell at auaotion on Wednesday, i4th last., two oar. gains in landed, properties, as follows,; xwo very substantiaiy built houses in (Jordon street on land 52ft x 120 ft, occupied by first-class tenants; also, a four, roomed housfe in Parliament street on land 33ft x 80ft, occupied by Mr Gillespie; an irregular section of over 11 perches, having an up-to-date foux.roomea cot. tags, witn hot water, etc., occupied by Mr Robson, will .also he offered. Cardand further particulars may be obtained from the auctioneers at their offices, Panama street. Messrs Baker Bros, .will sell by auction at Petone on Wednesday next the whole of the real estate of tho late Alfred Clarke, consisting of cottage property, leasehold sections, ’bus plant, cork manufacturing plant, furniture, etc. Messrs Crichton and McKay call for tenders for the erection gf a branch bank at Ploton for tho Bank of New Zealand. Messrs Macdonald. Wilson and Co. will sell on Tuesday next, by order of the Collector of Outoms, 180 rattan cnairs 1^ 0 !!.' Morrah and Co. will sell at their roojns at 2 p.m. to"d*iy, a quantity of useful furniture and sundries. Tomorrow they will hold a sals of horses and vehicles at the horse basaar. To-day, at 12 o’clock noon, Messrs J. H. Bethnno and Co. will sell by public amotion, absolutely without reserve, in A shed, Queen’s Wharf, ex s.s. Tomoana, from New York, two cases and six tins T. C. Williams’s Cream of Virginia cigarette tobacco; all more or less damaged; to bo sold in bond on account of whsm it may concern. . C Smith’s winter sale is still attracting the patronage of the purchasing public. As the time for stocktaking is close at hand, the firm is advertising attractive lines that have been thrown out, and must be sold. Messrs Thompson Bros, and Co. will sell oaten shetf chaff at their rooms at 11 o’clock this merning. Messrs Laery and Co. will hold a sale of plants, shrubs, bulbs, etc., at their rooms at 1.80 p.m. to-day. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company will sell stock at helming at 1 p.m. to.day.
