CRICKET.

MACLARBN'S TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. LONDON, July 31. Lord Hawke, - president of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, states that the wish of the committee of Yoikshire Club demurring to the inclusion of Rhodes in Maclarmi s team for Australia is 'equal to a command. The same remark applies also, to Hirst. The grounds of objection are that the team is not representative of England, that Rhodes is too young to stand the strain of the tour, and that Hirst is lame, though the latter has not been named as a likely member of the team.
