C. H. leord.—We do not feel called upon to repeat the “ugly rumours" of the street, but at the same time they can not be altogether ignored. If you wish to -know what these rumours aro, you will find plenty of people ready enough to retail them to you, without their running any risk from tho erratic law of libel.
