The scow Warrior "arrived in port yes_ terday from Kaipara with a cargo _ of timber. She is berthed at the Wool Jetty. The cruiser Archer returned from a cruise around the Southern Islands yes terday. She touched at the Campbod Islands, and passed close to the Bounty, Antipodes and Chatham Islands. The Rotorua will -make her usual run to Lyttelton on Saturday night. On teturning on Tuesday, she will go on ihc slip, and the 'Wainui will take her run to Picton and Nelson on that day. 1 The Werrimoo, which arrived from Svd ne.v on Wednesday night, brought the following passengers for Wellington; Misses Harper, Swann. DISCHARGE OF SEAMEN. . PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, July 18. At ’the Police Court *to day Captain Tirney, master of the -barque Manurewa, was charged with neglecting to enter in the official log the 'discharge of a seaman at Adelaide. Pressure has continued to decrease at Albany, but at both Hobart and Sydney it has risen slowly. Low pressure from the west-north-west is crossing the. Bay of Plenty towards East Cape. Low pressure from west has passed to eastward of the meridian of South Cape. Increasing pressure and colder weather are to be expect ed everywhere, with . strong southerly winds and a southerly gale on the east between Castlepoint and Bast Cape. R. A. EDWIN.
