PUBLIC NOTICE. REFERRING to the circular issued by the firm of "Henry Hughes,” Patent Agents, containing what is alleged to be a copy signed by us of the Government Gazette notice of dissolution of the partnership of the late firm of Hughes, Rayward and Baldwin, we have to state that the said copy notice is INCORRECT and LIKELY TO MISLEAD THE PUBLIC by reason of the UNWARRANTED AND IMPROPER OMISSION of the following paragraph: "Messrs Rnyward and Baldwin will carry on business as Patent Agents and Mining and Consulting Engineers in partu airship.’’ Tbs notice was signed by us upon the distinctly expressed understanding that it would only be used as a whole, thus indicating that Messrs Rayward and .Baldwin were entitled to practise as Patent Agents, BRANDON. HISLOP AND JOHNSTON, Solicitors for Messrs Rayward and Baldwin. PATENTS. Henry hughes. Queen’s Chambers. (Extract from Evening Post, 3rd June). A notice of the dissolution of the wellknown patent .firm of Hughes, Rayward and Baldwin has already appeared in our columns. Under the deed of dissolution, Mr W. E. Hughes succeeds to the business, and 'becomes entitled to carry on the business of the late firm, ag its successor. It has been stated in various newspapers that Messrs Rayward and Baldwin are carrying on the business in succession to the late partnership. This, we have ascertained, is quite erroneous; that Mr Hughes—and Mr Hughes alone—is entitled to carry on, and is carrying on the business in cuccession to the late firm, at his offices Queen’s Chambers. • Wellington, and in other parts of New Zealand.
