BURIAL OF The victims. PEESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, June 28. The victuns of the Eyreton tragedy were' buried in Eyreton Cemetery today. There was an immense attendance at the funeral. One hearse carried the three coffins, and one grave received them all, the little boy’s coffin, in white, being placed above the others. The Rev. Messrs Orchard and Laws conducted the funeral service,’ the former speaking in high terms of the lives of the deceased. Mr Field, the Evangelist, who spent the Thursday evening before their death with the deceased, paid a tribute to the kindness and truly religious lives of the two ladies. Spealdng of McLean, he said his conversation on Friday morning was not that of an insane man.
