GREYTOWN.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) Friday, 4.20 p.m. The installation of the W.M. and the investiture of officers of the Greytown Masonic Lodge took place last evening, Bro. Williams officiating. Bro. R. Bright was director of ceremonies. The following are the officers for the ensuing term:—W.M., Bro. R W. Tate; I. Bro. Beard; S.W., Bro. Duff; J. Bro. Playle; Treasurer, Bro. W. Bey; Secretary, Bro. A. Murray; Chaplain, Bro. Hewson; Organist, Bro. Richards ; S.D., Bro. Parkinson ; J.D., Bro. Dudding; 1.G., Bro. Bassett; Tyler, Bro. Matthews. A meeting of th e commit,te° of the Wairarapa Agricultural and Pastoral So ciety was held to-day. A large number of new members were proposed. The secretary’s annual report, embodying numerous new suggestions ■ for the workmg of the society, was discussed, and several recommendations were granted.
