WEDDINGS.
At St. Mark’s Church on Wednesday Miss Julian Moore, daughter of Mrs Moore, Tasman street, -was married to Mr Ernest B. Beckway, of Messrs Andrew and Manthel’s staff. The Rev Mr Bond was the celebrant. The bride was given away by Mr Hollis, and was attended (as bridesmaids) by her five sisters—Misses Winnifred, Mabel, Bose, Evelyn and Violet Moore— and by Miss Ada Jones and the Misses Hollis. Mr Ernest Andrews was best man, and Mr H. Andrews acted as groomsman. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a reception was held at Mrs Moore’s house. A quiet wedding was celebrated at St. Paul’s Church yesterday morning when Mr Andrew Knox, of Pahiatua. was married to Miss Lily Augusta Richardson, eldest daughter of Mr G. F. Richardson (late Minister of Lands) of this city. The Rev T. H. Sprott officiated. The ceremony was witnessed by the relatives and personal friends of the family, who afterwards participated in a wedding breakfast at the residence of the bride’s father.
