”NEW ZEALAND MAIL."

ROYAL VISIT NUMBER. “The Royal Visit Number” is the title of this week’s issue of the “New Zealand Mai!.” It contains full and complete reports of the tour of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, including the visit to Rotorua and the reception there of their Royal Highnesses i v the Maoris—the most unique event in 'the whole course of the itinerary. The arrival and reception in Wellington is chronicled at length, and the descriptions of the various processions and demonstrations have been abundantly illustrated. Full reports of the several public functions in which their Royal Highnesses have taken part arc given, together with complete lists of those attending the receptions at Government House. Among the pictures are portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwail, Lady Lygon, Sir John Anderson and other members of the Royal suite, while views of the illuminations and decorations of the city arc also presented. Some twenty-four pages of the “Mail"’ arc devoted'to the Royal visit, and as a record of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall’s sojourn in W’eliington it is well worth 'preserving.
