THE REMAINING GARRISON. (Received Juno It. 10 -1 p.ra.l LONDON, June 14. Viscount Cranhorne, Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs, stated in the House of Commons that the allies had agreed upon the necessity of maintaining GOOD troops in North China. Tile permanent British garrison remaining at Tientsin will, it is announced, consist of the Hongkong Regiment and the Thirty-first Madras Infantry. with pom-poms. At Shan-hai-kwan the garrison will consist of the Fourth Gurkhas. ACCEPTANCE OF THE DEMANDS. LONDON, June 14.. An Imperial edict has been issued granting all the demands of the Powers.
