PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, April 15

At a meeting of the Council of the League of Wheelmen to-night tho /hairman, reported that tho League delegates attended the conference arranged with the Amateur Athletic Association, but delegates from the association did not put in an appearance.

The disqualification of T. Kirkwood by the North Canterbury Centro for failing to pay a fine and apologise was endorsed. The Longue of Victorian Wheelmen wrote asking the New Zealand league to send a delegate to Melbourne to discuss with tho Australian leagues the government of cycling and try and bring the reciprocity agreement up to date. It was resolved to endorse the proposal for a conference and that a delegate would ho sent if possible. The secretory of the International Cyclists’ Union forwarded a copy of a ba-lance-sheet of tho World’s Championship meeting and stated that New Zealand’s share of the profit amounted to .£l9. The balance-sheet of the New Zealand Championship meeting was presented showing a credit balance of about J 23.
