DUNEDIN. April 2. Tlio _ newly-formed Tramway Employees Union _ lias niado a demand on 'die City Council and Tramway Company for an increase of wages. The demand's inac-o are Ss per day for drivers., 9s for grip and metormen, 10s for engine-dri-vers, 8? for conductors; hours, fortveight per week ; overtime, time and a quarter; and on Sunday, time and a half.
