BUSINESS NOTES.
The Railway Department invites tenders for the supply and delivery of castor-oil Messrs J. D. Craickshank and Co. have been appointed agents in the AVairarapa district for the Farmers' Co-operativo Fire and Marine Insurance Association of Canbury.
Messrs Morshead and Gieseu will sell at Fending on Saturday at 1 p.m., 150 unbroken horses, including ponies, hacks, and brood marcs and animals suitable for harness.
Messrs Williams and Kettle will sell at the AVnipukurau yards on Tuesday a largo entry of cattle, and sheep, the latter including Leicester, Lincoln and Romney crosses.
To-morrow afternoon Messrs Sidev and Co. will submit to auction an excellent property in Kenwyn terrace, off Rintonl street. As the owner is leaving for England in two weeks, the property must be sold. Details and cards to view may ho obtained from the auctioneers.
